The second season of "Fire and Ice" is starting and I am ready with my version of the popular "nest" design... with a dragon twist. Here are Dany's dragon eggs on a bed of "coals". I used brass wire and some fiery seed beads for the embers. Drogon, Viserion, Rhaegon eggs are made from jasper stones.<br />

Now biggest question is: paperweight, pendant, broche, ring, or hairclip?amhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05743719182562784497noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7674100715450036419.post-43617444471001408212012-03-02T05:17:00.001-08:002012-03-02T21:38:51.776-08:00Bats Bats everywhere! Most people will tell that they don't want a bat in their hair, in fact, they are pretty much terrified of it. So it's only natural to make a hairpin in a shape of the bat. Great talking piece!<br />

Hammer is a wonderful implement for texturing silver wire and reliving stress - it may even ward off intruders in a pinch. </div><div>So far one of my favorite designs is a the wire "Life Tree".</div><div>For those creative types who want to try it out, there are great instructions by Dana</div><div><a href="http://danasjewelrydesign.blogspot.com/2010/08/tutorial-tree-of-life-pendant.html">Dana's Jewelry Design: Tutorial - Tree of Life Pendant</a> </div><div><br /></div><div>These are fun to make and you can get as creative with this motif as you like. Realizing that I'm making them faster than knowing what to do with them, I decided to start building an online gallery of my work for folks to peruse, comment, and purchase something they like.</div><div><br /></div><div>I will be updating this blog as my future jewelry making endeavors progress. </div>amhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05743719182562784497noreply@blogger.com0
